Day 1: Arrival Cairo
On your arrival to Cairo, the capital city of Egypt, you will be met by our representative who will assist you through passport control formalities, luggage identification etc. Later you will be transferred to your hotel by a private A/C car. Overnight stay in Cairo.
Day 2: Cairo
After breakfast enjoy a daylong visit to the Egyptian museum of antiquities. The museum displays a rare collection of 5000 years of art including 250,000 genuine artifacts - the largest most precious collection of Egyptian art in the world. Witness an exhibit dedicated to the Tut-Ankh-Amon collection of treasures comprising of gold jewelry, statue and other artifacts as it was enclosed in his tomb for over 3,500 years before being discovered in the 1922, when his tomb was excavated. Thereafter visit the famous 12th Century Saladin Citadel built by Saladin and was the seat of power for the following 700 years. On its premises is the Alabaster Mosque of Mohammed Ali, one of the landmarks in Cairo whose minaret can be seen from any part of the city. Then start your visit to Khan El Khalili Bazaars housing shops that are legendary for fine brassware, copper, perfumes, leather, silver, gold, antiques and more. At the end of the day you will transferred back to your hotel. Stay overnight in the comforts of your hotel.
Note: you can also choose to enjoy a Dinner Cruise (optional) that includes transportation, dinner, Belly Dancer, Tanura Show, Horse show etc.
Day 3: Cairo -- Alexandria
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Alexandria by air- conditioned bus. Check-in to your hotel on arrival. Rest of day at leisure. You can enjoy shopping in Alexandria. Overnight stay in Alexandria.
Day 4: Alexandria
Enjoy your breakfast at hotel. Full day at leisure. You can enjoy a sightseeing tour (optional) of Montazah Garden and Alexandria Library. Overnight stay in Alexandria.
Day 5: Alexandria
Enjoy your breakfast at hotel. Full day at leisure. (Optional) You can choose to enjoy a sightseeing tour of this historical town. Visit the famous Greco-Roman Museum, Which houses 3rd - 7th centuries Mummies, Hellenistic statues, bust of Roman Emperors, Tanagra figurines and early Christian antiquities. Then visit Quaitbay Citadel and Pompay's Pillar. In the afternoon visit the renowned Roman Theater and the great Catacomb of Kom El-Shoqafa(Tombs on three levels, also contains The Triclinium where relatives used to sit on stone benches to feast the dead, a center with relieves of bearded serpents). Overnight stay in Alexandria.
Day 6: Alexandria - Aswan
Enjoy your breakfast at hotel. Full day at leisure. In the night you will be transferred to the train station to board a sleeper train to Aswan. Dinner and overnight on the train.
Day 7: Aswan -- Edfu
Enjoy your breakfast in the train. On arrival at Aswan you will be met by our representative and embark on cruise ship. Lunch on board the ship. Visit the High Dam and the amazing Philae temple. Later Sail to Kom Ombo. On board afternoon tea. In the afternoon visit the famous Ptolemaic Temple of Kom Ombo - shared by the two gods Sobek and Haroeris. Thereafter sail to Edfu. Dinner on board. Enjoy a Disco party. Overnight in Edfu.
Day 8: Edfu - Luxor
Enjoy your breakfast on board. Then visit the Temple of Horus in Edfu. Cross the lock and sail to Luxor. On board afternoon tea. Dinner on board. Enjoy a Galabya party. Overnight in Luxor.
Day 9: Luxor
Enjoy your breakfast on board. Then cross to the West Bank to visit the Necropolis of Thebes, Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon. Lunch on board. Afternoon at leisure. Afternoon Tea. Overnight in Luxor.
Day 10: Luxor - Cairo
Enjoy your breakfast on board and disembark at Luxor. Free time for leisure and shopping. In the night you will be transferred to the train station to board a sleeper train to Cairo. Dinner on board the train. Overnight sleeping in the train to Cairo
Day 11: Cairo
Enjoy your breakfast in the train. On arrival you will be met by our representative and transferred to the hotel. Overnight stay in Cairo. You can choose to enjoy a (optional) Sound and Light Laser show.
Day 12: Departure Cairo
After morning breakfast at hotel, our representative will transfer you to the airport and assist you in final departure formalities at the airport.
